I’m not photogenic.
I hate having my photo taken.
My husband-to-be doesn’t want video because he’s shy.
I never like myself in photos.
I believe, truly from the depths of my soul and from my years of experience photographing people, that everyone is photogenic. Most people who say they aren’t photogenic haven’t had much experience having their photo taken professionally. They rely mainly on snaps from a phone. Sometimes they are nice, sometimes not so great. A considerable factor is the lighting and the person taking the photo. You’re photogenic and I can’t wait to prove it!

Smile, laugh and be yourself. So many people try to hold back their big smiles on camera. Remember, your natural grin is how your loved ones see you every single day. In the photos, you want to appear how everyone sees and loves you. If you change how you look, the images will look unnatural. So never try to dial down that bright smile or huge laugh. If you just let go and be yourself, you can’t go wrong.
If I take an unflattering photo of a big laugh, I can delete it. But I can’t create an authentic laughing shot if it wasn’t there in the first place.
My style of wedding photography and videography on the Gold Coast and Byron Bay is relaxed, natural and un-posed. I’ve always loved this documentary style that allows beautiful moments to unfold. It also allows me to blend in, which helps even the shyest groom feel chilled out. I pride myself on this signature approach that effortlessly achieves gorgeous imagery.

If you are looking for a Tweed Coast or Byron Bay wedding photographer who can help you feel relaxed in front of the camera, look no further. I pride myself on getting real images that will look natural, modern and gorgeous.
